As she smelled the tar on the butt of the cigarette, she turned her face away.“Just one drag”, I asserted as I pulled her a bit closer holding her by her waist.She stared deep in my eyes, a little bit angry, feeling my hand but then took one puff and started coughing.“Again”, I asserted, my hand still on her waist and she inhaled it this time.Quickly realizing the position of my hand, I pulled it away, apologizing and leaving her wondering about my touch as I headed towards my room.This little incident and the conversation between us was like the curtain raiser of our relationship.I woke up late next morning, credit to all the drama that happened previous night when I heard the maid Komal already mopping.
